Responsible Conduct of Research

Training Requirements

UF currently offers three options to meet federal funding requirements (NIH, NSF, USDA/NIFA) for RCR training at UF:

  1. CITI Training Program
  2. UF Graduate Credit Courses:
    • GMS 7877 Responsible Conduct of Biomedical Research (1 credit; spring)
    • GMS 6875 Ethical & Policy Issues in Human Subjects Research (2 credits; spring)
    • PHC 7427 Ethics in Population Science (2 credits; summer)
  3. UF RCR Seminar Series: Download any of these presentations from the UF RCR 2022 Seminar Series. If you prefer in-person/zoom training, contact Michelle Leonard. (note: viewing these presentations does not meet federal funder requirements.) The 2022 RCR Summer Seminar Series was supported by Award No. ORIIR210068 from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health (OASH). Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of OASH.

Resources

UF Research Integrity has created a new poster series on research integrity issues. The 11×17 posters, “Research Integrity Always Matters,” “What to do if you Suspect Research Misconduct,” and “ What you Need to Know About Research Integrity” are ideal for labs, student workrooms and common areas. If you would like free copies of the posters to hang in your space, please email Michelle Leonard.
