Strategic Research Development is excited to announce a panel and workshop on how to build an effective grant proposal team for the new funding environment of rapid proposal turnaround times, and bolt-from-the blue RFP announcements from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, October 27th, 2026! The event will be held in Room L100 of the Smathers Library.

This event will cover the process of building nimble, effective, and self-sustaining proposal team in advance of the release of an RFP, maintaining that team while waiting for an appropriate funding opportunity, building team efficiencies and resiliencies in order to effectively manage rapid proposal turnaround times, and diversifying potential funding sources to mitigate uncertainty. Faculty will hear from PIs and teams that have adapted to the grant environment, and from other practitioners of team science.
