All requirements limiting eligibility, project participation, or access to performance sites, information, data, or technologies based on citizenship or immigration-related status must be managed throughout the life of the sponsored project.

DSP will review solicitations, agreements, and awards to identify any requirements that any project participant (researchers, graduate students, etc.) meet certain citizenship requirements or that UF reports the citizenship of participants. The Citizenship Limitations Instruction Guide details the process for managing compliance and the responsibilities of DSP and the campus unit (PI, Primary Unit Admin Contact, College-level Approver) at each stage of the sponsored project lifecycle.
