Discoveries, Patents, Inventions
Final Invention Report
Most federal sponsors require both negative or positive invention reports. Where invention reports are required DSP will collect the information needed, coordinate with the PI and if an invention was made in whole or in part with project funding coordinate with UF’s Office of Technology Licensing (OTL) the disclosure information prior to submitting the report to the sponsor.
UF Innovate Tech Licensing
UF Innovate supports an innovation ecosystem at UF that moves research discoveries from the laboratory to the market. UF Innovate includes the division of Tech Licensing – previously know as Office of Technology & Licensing (OTL). Award closeout is a great time to analyze and disclose discoveries and inventions.
