The Division of Research Program Development assists University of Florida faculty and staff in the pursuit of internal and external research funding. The division identifies and publishes a list of Funding Opportunities for the UF community, coordinates the selection of UF’s nominees to limited application programs, and coordinates the annual Research Opportunity Seed Fund program. In addition, the division assists in planning and coordinating large interdisciplinary research initiatives, including facilitating the preparation of grants involving multiple schools, colleges, divisions, or institutions to support new research programs at UF.

- View a presentation from Steve Roberts of Oak Ridge University Partnerships (ORAU), held on January 17, 2013. He discussed areas of interest for partnership, provided an update on research and education opportunities, and identified strategic research areas.
- The Office of Research’s list of Funding Opportunities will now be updated on a weekly basis, each Friday, rather than biweekly.
- COS Pivot had provided a number of short instructional videos to bring users up to speed on the new features of Pivot for finding research funding and potential collaborators.
